Masen Davis, Executive Director of Funders Concerned about AIDS, received the Grindr for Equality Awards: The People Behind Progress
Masen Davis, a member of LeaderSpring Center’s Class of 2011 San Francisco alumni, continues to advance LGBTQ+ health, human rights, and systems change through decades of impactful leadership.
Recently honored with Grindr for Equality’s inaugural Systems Change Leadership Award, Masen was recognized for nearly 30 years of work advancing equity for LGBTQ+ communities and people affected by HIV. His leadership has helped strengthen protections for transgender workers, support trans-led movements, and elevate community leadership within the global HIV response.
As Executive Director of Funders Concerned About AIDS, Masen works to mobilize philanthropic resources and bring funders together to support the community-led movements driving lasting change.
His recognition reflects the powerful impact of values-driven leadership and the importance of resourcing communities to shape the solutions they need. LeaderSpring Center is proud to celebrate Masen’s continued contributions and the lasting influence of his leadership.
