LeaderSpring Center is proud to celebrate Curt Yagi, Class of 2007 San Francisco Alumni, and his organization, R.O.C.K. (Real Options for City Kids), for being named Nonprofit of the Year at the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Excellence in Business Awards (EBBIES)!
This well-deserved recognition honors R.O.C.K.’s impactful youth development work and its commitment to creating opportunities for young people throughout San Francisco. The milestone also celebrates the collective efforts of the staff members, school partners, students, families, volunteers, and supporters who bring the organization’s mission to life.
At LeaderSpring Center, we believe leadership is rooted in community, strengthened through collaboration, and sustained by a shared commitment to collective well-being. Curt’s achievement and R.O.C.K.’s recognition reflect the power of community-centered leadership to create meaningful, lasting change in the lives of young people and the communities they call home.
R.O.C.K. also extended its gratitude to the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, the EBBIES voters and committees, and ABC7 News Bay Area for highlighting its work through a Good News feature. The organization recognized fellow Nonprofit of the Year finalists Enterprise for Youth and Mariposa Kids for their contributions to the community.
We are thrilled to celebrate Curt and the entire R.O.C.K. community on this important milestone. Congratulations on this recognition and for your continued dedication to supporting young people and strengthening communities across San Francisco!
