LA to the Bay: Thousands Protest in Mission District Against Immigration Raids, Travel Bans

Last week, approximately 9,000 people gathered in San Francisco’s Mission District to protest recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids and federal travel bans, rallying at the 24th & Mission BART plaza with chants, music, and calls for sanctuary city protections. The largely peaceful demonstration emphasized community solidarity, with speakers urging local leaders like Mayor Daniel Lurie to take a firm stand in defense of immigrant rights.
